<myprinter>.tdb spoilt, tdbbackup -v does not see corrupt data
...g/IEPRINT.tdb
I got returncode 0 , but that ~.tdb was spoilt .
Moving the file IEPRINT.tdb away makes the printer IEPRINT running.
Some weeks ago I had the same error, but could not find any reason. So I removed samba and installed it again. So I deleted the problem without knowing, what file is affeted.
It seems, that the error depends on the number of printjobs or on the time, the printer is used(about 5 weeks)
I can provide this spoilt file IEPRINT.tdb . It is perhaps helpful in finding the bug.
I think its to big to attach it . (139K)

na.include and nlm warnings
...nlm gives a warning that NA was
replaced by a maximum positive value so, in case of NA, I replaced the
function output with .Machine$double.xmax to avoid these warnings. Since I
don't know what nlm exactly does in these situations, I am a bit worried
whether there is any chance that this might affet the numerical
optimization in some situations. Can anyone tell whether this could cause
problems?
This could be avoided with optim which doesn't print warnings in this case
but I have found that it takes, with all available methods, at least twice
as many iterations for some problems.
Thanks...

The syntax is incorrect.
For help, type NET USE /? at the command prompt.
Yet running the same script one the machine as soon after login as possible
