Marking and remarking of incoming traffic
I can use DSMARK to mark on the Egress side. Is there a way to mark/change the DSCP value of an incoming packet on the ingress side? Thanks. Jon Flechsenhaar Boeing WNW Team Network Services (714)-762-1231 202-E7

TOS Settings to DSCP
I am assuming that the TOS values directly map to DSCP values in the ip header. Is this a correct assumption? If so, can someone tell me the correct setting to set call control packets with a DSCP of AF31(011010) and media with EF(101110)? So would the setting for AF be TOS=46?? Is it possible to mark the media and call control separately?? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Bad packet length problem with "aes128-cbc" and openssh3.1p1
Hi, I am trying to run openssh 3.1p1. But it is giving "Bad packet length" error when I run sshd with default config file. On further investigation I found that the error is coming only for the cipher algorithm "aes128-cbc". Also the error comes only when I don't specify any protocol file (/usr/local/etc/ssh_host_[rd]sa_key) or specify only "protocol 2" files. I

Marking at egress? (DiffServ)
...i noticed that there''s always an ingress and egress of which these are 2 different dev. Is it possible for before ingress and egress be the same dev?? I tried the script below but doesn''t seem to work... How to control the bandwidth in this case?? I want to show that AF11, AF21, AF31, AF41, EF, BE traffic has different throughput if 6 fullstreams of traffic is push out from server to client (with 6 different ports). eg: #! /bin/sh -x # device="eth1" client0="192.168.1.1/32" client2="192.168.1.20/32" /sbin/ipchains -A output -i $device -p tcp -s...

HELP! SNV_97,98,99 zfs with iscsitadm and VMWare!
I''m not sure if this is a problem with the iscsitarget or zfs. I''d greatly appreciate it if it gets moved to the proper list. Well I''m just about out of ideas on what might be wrong.. Quick history: I installed OS 2008.05 when it was SNV_86 to try out ZFS with VMWare. Found out that multilun''s were being treated as multipaths so waited till SNV_94 came out to
