Digium AEX410
Poking around the zaptel SVN earlier today i see support was added for an AEX410 card recently... I'm going to go out on a limb and assume this is the PCI-Express version of the TDM410? Any hints on a general availability date? -- Matt

RED on DAHDI channel
Asterisk 11.1 We have a situation where one of our incomings POTS lines will not answer. There are 2 lines configured by the Telco as a rollover group (rings the line that is not busy) and they feed into a Digium AEX410 on the server. The most recent time this happened, I did a /etc/init.d/dahdi status and saw this: ### Span 4: WCTDM/1 "Wildcard AEX410" *53 FXO FXSKS (EC: VPMOCT032 - INACTIVE) RED* 54 FXO FXSKS (EC: VPMOCT032 - INACTIVE) 55 FXO FXSKS (EC:...

Audio cut-outs
I'm having an issue with some Snom 300s on a server running Asterisk version 13.9.1, Dahdi 2.11.1 w/OSLEC and pjsip 2.5.1. There is _*NO NAT*_ involved. Phones and server are plugged into the same network switch, all on the same IP range. The server is running a Wildcard AEX410 analog card with 2 FXO modules receiving incoming analog lines. Occasionally, in the middle of a call, the audio will drop out for between 15 and 20 seconds before suddenly coming back. I've tried running u-Law as the codec and licensed g.729 version 13.0_3.1.7 with exactly the same result...

dahdi timing
...ers fluctuate between %99.90 and %99.99 which seem to cause the above errors. We tried Sangoma UT50 as a timing device (it's USB based), but the test results were worse (between 99.98 - 99.97 when idle, and had big dips when loaded and there is no IRQ sharing). We are planning to order Digium AEX410 cards hoping they will be an improvement over dahdi_dummy and Sangoma. Does anyone have experience with these cards? Can we get a stable performance from them even under load? Also (for Digium developers who might be reading this list), any plans for decoupling SLA from dahdi timing in future rele...

Which Digium cards to select: AEX with EF or E or P or B?
Dears; I need to order Digium card and not able to know which one is the best quality? Is it that of AEX with the end E or EF or P or B? I saw those card that its slot is small (I think those that end by EF), are they the best card? Really I am caring to have a card that has echo cancelation and the voice volume is high enough (because previously I faced the problem that the voice volume was

how to answer a Panasonic PBX extension with Asterisk?
I'd like to have my Asterisk system pick up a certain extension on an existing Panasonic PBX when it rings. (It's connected to some proprietary Panasonic doorphones that I haven't replaced yet.) I connected that extension to an FXO port on a Digium AEX410 card, and set that channel to have the context "doorphone". The problem is that the extension is never executed. With debugging on, I see: Nov 23 16:37:23] DEBUG[20077]: chan_dahdi.c:11896 do_monitor: Monitor doohicky got event Ring Begin on channel 12 [Nov 23 16:37:23] DEBUG[20077]: s...

BT line: unavailable vs withheld numbers?
On a BT line, how do I determine whether the number on an incoming call has been deliberately withheld (by dialling 141) or is merely unavailable (e.g. because it originated from overseas or passed through some ancient switching equipment) ? In the first case, I want the caller to be played a message to the effect that we are not at home to anonymous cowards but if their business is
