...a list of PCs, determine if a PC is online, backup that PC, then move on to the next one. If a PC is down, it can report an error to the admin to state that the backup was not performed. UXTheme and Vista Styles potential problem
Sure I know vista styles tend to use png images, but I seem to have noticed a potential problem. Unless wine has its own window manager, styles like Windows Aero may look very strange in wine. Reason: Aero is intended to be a unified look and imagine a partial glass look with metacity chopping off part of the theme. Also, how would we know were to start drawing in the aero image resource if we do not have a winewm to use it? I think a winewm needs to be...

[LLVMdev] "grep -w" irregularity
Not entirely sure how to categorize this particular problem, but it's clearly platform test related: "grep -w" appears to operate differently on the x86_64 linux buildbot versus my local Mac OS 10.4.11 and Ubuntu x86_64. In the CellSPU's shift_ops.ll test case, "grep -w shlh" returns the correct 9 expected occurances, whereas the x86_64 buildbot finds 10. Any

RESTful web service tutorial?
Hi, I would like to turn some of our simulation codes out to pasture and string some of them together by draping them in web services. I''m looking for a RESTful Camping tutorial to get started ... pointers appreciated. Some simple example applications: airfoil force calculator: feed it an airfoil geometry, an angle of attack, and a Mach number, and it returns the lift, drag, and

[LLVMdev] The one remaining bug keeping CellSPU from release...
Yup, I've got one remaining bug that holding up the CellSPU release. It still has a bunch of warts, but so long as I can get it into shape such that llvm-gcc-4.2 compiles all the way through, then we collectively have something with which to work. I'm getting the following error from llc, the attachments have llc's debug and the .ll files, respectively. Can anyone shed some
