Please adwise on classicupgrade process
Greetings, All!
I'm still on the topic, but probably I read too much stuff lately and can't
have my head set straight.
Situation: NT4 domain, LDAP+Samba 3.6, running under Ubuntu 12.04.
The machine is also a network gateway and access (VPN/ssh) server.
Target goals:
1. Upgrade to Samba4 (4.1 seems possible).
2. Convert to ADS.
3. Get rid of PAM-LDAP.
4. Retain ability for domain users

Printer error message
I'm trying to run a fairly old economic programme. I starts and runs but

system.reg the printer is registered and it all looks right.
Any clues?
Thanks
/Leslie

I'm a newbie in this list, so I don't know if it's the appropriate place
for my question. Anyway, I'd be happy to find out the solution.
Please, has anyone simple answer for:
I'm looking for an exact list of files, which:
1. MUST have...
2. HAVE FROM BSD INSTALLATION...
3. DO NOT NEED...
4. NEVER MAY...
...the suid-bit set.
Of course, it's no problem to

IPFIREWALL_DEFAULT_TO_ACCEPT becomes default to deny
Hey Guys,
today I upgraded to 4.8-RELEASE-p15. As usual I set IPFIREWALL to default
accept in my kernel config file.
Config & make weren't complaining so, installed the kernel, reboot and there
it was:
>IP packet filtering initialized, divert disabled, rule-based forwarding
enabled, default to deny, logging disabled
Another rebuild didn't work out so... I reviewed
