...troller. I used to use the Microsoft usermanager. After a general migration/upgrate I am not able to create new users anymore. I can do it with the smbldap-tools, manually only from the root user but if I do it through the usermanager it gives me an error. ...and print$ shares, so I wasn't connected as users permitted to write. I don't know if it's Samba's problem or windoze's. So I had to put guest to the write list. But putting guest on write list of the printer didn't always work. Best solution is to put printer admin = root, adminitrator, guest, .... whoever you want in global section of your smb.conf.
