[Request] mod_auth_ntlm_winbind
http://adldap.sourceforge.net/wiki/doku.php?id=mod_auth_ntlm_winbind
I have built an rpm for my own use, by grabbing the source files from
sambas' web interface to cvs.
It would be real neat to have it packaged and available through yum.

NTLM proxy auth against a Samba 3 server
Hi,
Is it possible to configure NTLM HTTP proxy authentication using
the winbind/squid "ntlm_auth" helper, to authenticate users against a
Samba 3 server?
I already have the NTLM auth working against a Windows 2003 Active

I can't get mod_auth_ntlm_winbind to work
Scenario:
Centos 5 x86_64 machine with samba-3.0.23c-2.el5.2.0.2
The machine is a PDC, Windows 2000 users logon, get
profiles, etc.
I'm trying to set up a folder in apache that uses
NTLM authentication using mod_auth_ntlm_winbind.
I've followed:
http://adldap.sourceforge.net/mod_auth_ntlm_winbind.php
winbindd is running, and ntlm_auth seems to work:
# ntlm_auth --username=pdc2
password:
[2007/05/21 14:33:07, 10] intl/lang_tdb.c:lang_tdb_init(138)
lang_tdb_init: /usr/lib64/samba/en_US.UTF-8.msg: No such file or
directory
NT_STATUS_OK: Success (0x0)...

cgi is probably not what you want to do
I doubt you want to make things complex by mixing php and

the host works as intended.
Any hints where to look for solving this issue?
When we compare this log with the log using ntlm_auth we don't see the
entered username inside the log, just the apache user! Why is that?
