I try to track down an error that causes that Astcc just reports the time, but not the costs. ...second. After the system is up. "hwclock" works fine. hwclock --debug does not show any error at all. The hardware clock is configured in local time. /etc/sysconfig/clock is set to UTC=false and ZONE="America/Chicago". /etc/localtime is a copy of Chicago's zone file. /etc/adjtime is configured with "LOCAL" as the third row. Is there a package to do this? Normally the hardware clock is set during shutdown if one is running ntpd. But if a long-running server shuts down unexpectedly, this isn't done, and the hardware clock might be off by a lot when it comes back up. So setting it periodically from a cron job could be useful.
