Call are established, but voices can't be heard
...doing some kind of magic. So the call is established and I can hear my friend's voice. But my friend CANNOT hear MY VOICE. I figure this is because he is using a private IP address. I just don't get it. Calls can be established whether two people are using public IP address, or private IP addreess. But your voice can be heard only if the other person is using a public IP address. Is there some misconfiguration with my server, or my Softphone app? Please enlighten me. I'd really appreciate any kind of help Ed -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL...

A FAQ: is it mandatory to include the local IP address classes in the global VPN address class?
...ACE 192.168.x.1 netmask 255.255.0.0 ip route replace 10.0.0.0/8 dev $INTERFACE ip route replace 172.16.0.0/12 dev $INTERFACE (so that all private IP packets are routed go automatically into the mesh, no one is "lost” around). Now, the QUESTION itself: Is it *mandatory* to use a VPN global addreess class (192.168.0.0/16 on the myvpn virtual interface) that *includes* the local LANs (each 192.168.x.0/24s on the eth1 interface) - as explained into various pieces of tinc documentation and examples? Or can we have 192.168.x.0/24s on the local LANs and another, *different* private class (say 10.0...

dom0 networking disabled
Hi folks, I''ve been trying to work out this situation for a few days now without much success and dug all over the archives for similar issues, none of which seem to relate exactly. I installed Debian Etch and the Xen (3.03) kernels / binaries on a Dell server. It works fantastic with all the default configurations with one strange flaw - as soon as the /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge
