Samba with Mysql, compilation problem. (Additionnal information)
Hey people, i just had a compilation error! I'm pretty happy because it means that i am doing something wrong. It seems that the compiler doesn't find mysql.h include header file. The point is that i have all these includes files in this folder: /usr/local/mysql/include/mysql/ The ./configure call which has failed had: --enable-mysql --with-mysql --with-mysql-prefix=/usr/local/mysql

RTP profile draft!
Hi Jean-Marc and list, I'm trying to negotiate speex with SIP/SDP and get some trouble understanding the "mode" parameter: mode: Speex encoding mode. Can be {1,2,3,4,5,6,any} defaults to 3 in narrowband, 6 in wide and ultra-wide. Is mode equivalent to the "quality" parameter of speex? In this case, I don't understand why mode is not from 1 to 10... Just

[LLVMdev] Compilation problem with JIT/Interpreter
...he link problems are enclosed to this message) with Unix MakeFile or XCode project generated by CMake (llvm compilation options are get with llvm-config inside CMake). This project has been successfully tested on Linux and windows platforms with the same computer. So my first question is : Is there additionnals information to provide to the linker when compiling llvm on mac os x? The second question concerns Yellow Dog Distribution(6.2) on CellSPU processor. Does lli support JIT compilation on CELL? For the moment, it seems to only work with the interpreter (-force-interpreter option). Many thanks -----...

joint multichannel coding (long message)
I've got an idea for joint multichannel coding. Here is my idea: My idea is a process for coding 2,3,4 or 5 combined channels, in a compatible way for decoders unable to deal with combined channels. part1: All channels to be coded are summed, each one effected by a coefficient related to its sound power importance for the listener. The sum of all channels is devided by the square root of the

Hello, Presently, we are able to add additionnal info to a matrix thanks to the nice comment() and attr() functions. Maybe I miss some other functions ? Since there is a always a little remaining place on the top left when one print a matrix, I was wondering if it won't be interesting to offer the possibility to show some information here, I'm thinking on something like : > attr(M,

AMD Liano A8 Processors supported on CentOS 6.x?
Hi. Red Hat is saying that AMD Liano A8 CPU's are not supported by RHEL/CentOS 6: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/articles/65431 Is that true? R benchmarking program
Hi All, I've just rebuild the latest R with the Goto BLAS on our new Intel quad core machines. I did a few basic matrix calculations, and I was very impressed by the performance I saw. I wonder if anyone has a more rigorous benchmarking program for R. I downloaded a old R test/benchmarking program (see below), and this didn't work with the current R, and so I wondered if anyone could

It works quite well, I have 2 screens side by side (default config), but.... maildir format
Hello Timo and other dovecot-dev or users, It looks like Dovecot accepts (with APPEND command) messages that begins with 'From[SPACE]' line, which are not valid from RFC 2822 point of view. Additionnally, Dovecot will store them as they are APPENDed, I mean with the starting 'From[SPACE]' line, which generates a bad Maildir format.

OT iSCSI best practices
Hi, I have an HP MSA 2000i as SAN (iSCSI) and since I'm starting with SANs, I'm seeking for advice. We are currently using HP Proliant 380 G5 + MSA 70 (SAS, direct-attached storage) for our production servers. At first, I thought I'd be using the SAN only for non-critical operations, like temporary additional storage for disk-based backups and snapshots, so I planned on using

Overlaying lattice graphs (continued)
Dear R Users, I recently posted an email on this list about the use of data.frame and overlaying multiple plots. Deepayan kindly indicated to me the panel.superposition command which worked perfectly in the context of the example I gave. I'd like to go a little bit further on this topic using a more complex dataset structure (actually the one I want to work on). >mydata Plot
