Addind kmail to EPEL
I finally decided to move from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7, but was surprised to see that kmail is no longer included: Red Hat deliberately decided to omit it. How can I ask that kmail be added to EPEL? The information on EPEL's site basically says to submit it myself, but that's above my capabilities. -- Yves Bellefeuille <yan at storm.ca>

addind imap support to rsync
when seeking for syncing two imap maildir folders one has the choice among many programs such as imapsync, isync, offlineimap ... But all of these provide individually only a few options. For example syncing a folder by only appending unexisting files, i.e. without deleting anything seem to be supported by no one real imap syncing software stable release. Here "real syncing" means a

[LLVMdev] Compilation problem when addind a library
Hi ! Here is the situation. I created a pass in lib/Transforms/Obfuscation. I added a createFlattening() in IPO.h and in my code to be able to use it in PassManagerBuilder.cpp (lib/Transforms/IPO) in the method PopulateModulePassManager() so I can add my pass to standard passes. It all works if I add all my files in the lib/Transforms/IPO directory. But I want to keep them away in the

[LLVMdev] Reassociating expressions involving GEPs
Hello, We've run across the following missed optimization: in the attached loop (addind.c/addind-opt.ll) there's a lookup into an array (V) using an indirect index (coming from another array, WI[k]) offset by a loop- invariant base (l). The full addressing expression can be reassociated so that we add the offset l to V's base first, and then add the indirect part. This...

LDAP violation ?
...hole install process to have my Linux server to behave like a Domain PDC (Bind 9 + Samba + CUPS + OpenLdap). Then I configured Samba (smb.conf) to work with my OpenLdap server (last version). I don't say that it was easy, but everything seem to correctly working. The problem is when I start addind users using the 'smbpasswd' command. I get an objectclass violation which says it cannot modify the 'userPassword' attribute. After some searching, I noticed the 'userPassword' attribute was only defined in the 'PosixAccount' objectclass. If I use a LDAP browser to...

I hope you can understand what I mean. How should I erase this sencond line, it is suposed they have the same data? Why zero line doesn´t comp...

SPIRV-LLVM as an external tool
...are trying to solve is: 1. Keeping up to date with the LLVM code base development. 2. Providing unified common place for everyone to contribute their changes. Now there are two extra goals that are more related to Clang: 3. Missing targets that can be used as an end binary (except for AMD GPU). Addind SPIRV to LLVM would allow Clang open source users to generate this portable binary format without going to any other toolchains that just integrate Clang. This is also a reason why we keep maintaining Clang in all the toolchains. Hopefully, people will start improving LLVM for GPU targets upstream...

Specified User Does not exist ?
Hey all, I hope I'm missing something simple. This is my second PDC install and I'm having some problems getting my win2k machine to join the domain. First I made the machine account: useradd -g 100 -d /dev/null -c "bob's computer" -s /bin/false office1$ Then I lock the password: passwd -l office1$ Next I make the smbpasswd -am office1 name. Finally, I added a

maclist problem on a firewall/bridge/router system with masquerading
...ip 200.244.92.69, and so on ... until here it''s ok, so i had to activate the mac filter. and bum .. it stoped working. i added all my client mac addresses on the mac file like eth2 mac:delimited:address 10.10.1.2 and all packages just get rejected by the eth2_mac chain i tryed addind just the mac address without the ip and not worked too ... then in the meantime, i recompiled the kernel, checked everything and just realized it''s one of two, a shorewall problem or my configuration of shorewall :) i added the mac addresses of the bridge''s eth0 and eth1 to th...
