Rails keeps adding the letter s to the MySQL tablename.
...production:
adapter: mysql
database: gcsaam
username: root
password:
host: localhost
softlic.rb
class Softlic < ActiveRecord::Base
end
softlic_controller.rb
class SoftlicController < ApplicationController
scaffold :softlic
end
So here is my problem. Ruby or maybe Rails, keeps addign the letter "s"
to the MySQL table name like it shows here...
ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid in SoftlicController#new
Mysql::Error: #42S02Table ''gcsaam.softlics'' doesn''t exist: SHOW FIELDS
FROM softlics
RAILS_ROOT: ./script/../config/..
My table name is so...

update for 4.11 Security Officer-supported branches
Hello...
In regards to http://www.freebsd.org/security/ , from what I understand
the FreeBSD 4.x branch is generally winding down in favor of the 5.x/6.x
branches. It would be nice to know ahead of time if 4.11 will also be
an extended release, or if that would fall to 4.12. For those of
running 4.8 (expiring about the same time as 4.11 is released) we would
be in a better position to know

custom vnc install disk [dnk]
...to get around this?
This is what I did so far (so that maybe someone can point out my error).
Now just for detail I created a SIMPLE ks.cfg file with the following:
firewall --disabled
vnc --connect 192.168.0.100
And when adding directives to a kickstart file - does hte order matter? IE when addign
hte vnc directive, does it have to come after the networking info, etc?
it was located on my cd at:
/isolinux/ks.cfg
I edited the file /isolinux/isolinux.cfg

navigation problems
I am trying to move from MS Windows (of which I am a std user) to Linux and, 10 days ago, I installed Mandrake 9.0, everything is OK except for WEB navigation: even if surely connected, I cannot navigate and the browser answer is always:...host unknown..
Apparently the problem is the firewall (Shorewall) installed by default that rejects all comunication, infact looking in the Firewall settings
