10.0-BETA4 (upgraded from 9.2-RELEASE) zpool upgrade -> boot failure
Hi, Is there anything known about ZFS under 10.0-BETA4 when FreeBSD was upgraded from 9.2-RELEASE? I have two servers, with very different hardware (on is with soft raid and the other have not) and after a zpool upgrade, no way to get the server booting. Do I miss something when upgrading? I cannot get the error message for the moment. I reinstalled the raid server under Linux and the other

Problems booting into ZFS on recent stable/9
I had a sparc64 (Netra X1) running a stable/9 from late March 2013. Actually, the kernel may've been a bit newer than that as I was working with folks to diagnose and repair some Netra-X1 specific issues. But, ZFS worked fine. I have two pools, zroot as a RAID1 (using equally sized partitions at the front of two large disks), and a zdata that is a large pool of the remaining space of both

FreeBSD 9.1 won't boot with a graid error
Hi everybody. I've just upgraded a box from FreeBSD 9 to 9.1 via freebsd-update. At the first reboot, the machine stopped with messages about GRAID : GEOM_RAID: Promise: Subdisk kjihgfedcba`_^]\[ZYXWVUTSRQPONM:0-ada0 state changed from NONE to ACTIVE The trick is that I've never setup any kind of RAID on that old box... Is there a way to completely disable GEOM_RAID loading on boot ? Here are the obligatory blurry-cellphone-pictures of the boot messages : https://www.dropbox.com/s/wqgjsf1adhoaksb/boot1....
