MANAGESIEVE patch v3 for dovecot 1.0.rc28
Hello dovecot users,
I have updated the MANAGESIEVE patch to apply and compile against
dovecot 1.0.rc28. Not much has changed with respect to the functionality
of the previous version however:
ChangeLog vs v2
- Updated source to compile with dovecot 1.0.rc28, tested with rc27
(debian package)
- Daemon now uses the same location for .dovecot.sieve as dovecot-lda

symlink() failure in 1.2 managesieve
...al/virtual/hostname.com/account/sieve/Test.sieve failed: No
such file or directory
I began to chase this first by inserting i_info() calls into various
points of the managesieve build and later by attaching to the process
with gdb. I can see that in sieve_storage_script_activate() the
storage->active_path member is incomplete (i.e., is not a full, absolute
path name) and the cwd is "/tmp", thus the symlink() call fails.
Based on what I've been reading in the documentation, shouldn't the
system have resolved the "home" area for the mail to be the same as what
is determine...

Question to sieve symlink

A Server running openSUSE 12.3 and dovecot version 2.1.13.
In the log I find
Oct 19 00:23:23 managesieve(anmeyer at anup.de): Warning: sieve-storage: Active sieve script symlink /var/spool/vhosts/anup.de/anmeyer/.dovecot.sieve is broken: invalid/unknown path to storage (points to /var/spool/vhosts/anup.de/anmeyer/.sieve/managesieve.sieve).
But the link is ok and when I login to roundcube
