what is scale function? Is it for variable transformation?
HOwdy
I read R books about scale function for variable transformation.
Acoording to this book
scale function leads me to better regression results. Or am I worng?
I hope somebody tell me about a scale function?
Is it for variable transformation?

[msan] Failing mmap.cc test
The mmap.cc test is failing for me on aarch64 SuSE 12. The assert
assert(AddrIsApp(p)) fails. The last value printed from mmap is
0xf00000000 which is indeed not MAP_FAILED but also not a valid address
acoording to mmap.cc's mapping table.
Is there something about SuSE 12's kernel that behaves differently from
what this test expects? I am not a kernel guy...
The sequence of the last handful of addresses returned and printed by
the test is:
0x5600000000
0x5500000000
0x5400000000
0x5300000000
0x5...

[asterisk13] Multiple transport objects of same protocol in pjsip.conf
Scenario:
Our Asterisk 13 PBX (on network 192.168.254.0/24, bound to 192.168.254.1:5060) is behind
a NAT, acting as a client to our ITSPs SIP server. But also, this Asterisk is server for
various VoIP telephones.
Acoording to Asterisk's wiki, the transport section of pjsip.conf is configured as
follows:
; Transport via UDP
[transport-nat-udp]
type= transport
protocol= udp
local_net= 192.168.254.0/24

Plot Confidence Interval for Regression
Dear R-friends
I fitted a regression using GLM and plotted fitted values agaist X axis.
Now I need plot upper and lower confidence intervals (95%) for this fit.
Acoording to ?lm help and can use something like :
[ predict.lm(mod, se.fit=T, interval = "confidence", level=.95) ]
to estimate confidence intervals. In fact this command run fine, but I canĀ“t plot upper and lower C.I. lines.
Any help,
Kind regards

color specific(!) lines in different color with in parcoord plots
...yellow"))
but as I figure out, the colors of the lines/points plotted, alternate, meaning all points referring to uneven rownumbers are colord in green and respectivley all even rownumbers in yellow. Same with three or more colors; it just continously goes through the vector of colors, right?
Acoordingly, my questions concerns on how the plot function uses col and if there is any way to "manipulate".
I looked up the api of plot and matplot, but I was not able to find a general enough defnition or explanation of the option "col", sorry.
Kind regards and thank you for your res...

The following are configuration :
