I am attempting to do three things and I'm hoping for advice: 1) Intergrate Samba fully with MySQL (unless another database would be considered better for this task). One of the things I've always had trouble with Linux is that everything is seperate. I understand that provides flexibility but I would like to

resend: * newbie: overhead paging and nbsd
I've rummaged through the archives and documentation and have yet to find references to nbsd or mention of how to implement overhead paging using chan_oss as mentioned in the list previously. I suspect that one would use a soundcard in the PBX system and feed the output to speakers and/or PA system. Would someone please point me to some procedures or documentation to acomplish overhead paging?

What I'm trying to acomplish is to run several data sets through the same graphing procedure, but for the pH data use a log y axis. using this code all graphs are drawn with a linear axis. Surely I should be able to set the ylog option to T using another object (logaxis). for (n in

Multiple Samba Instances on a Single Distribution.
Hello, I am wondering if anyone else has thought that it might be good to be able to run multiple instances of samba on a single machine ? I currently accomplish this task with VMware and multiple vm's. But it seems to me that it may be simpler if samba were able to run multiple instenses, with unique configs and smbpasswds, binding to unique aliased ethernet devices! Such that on a single
