Problems loading CentOS 4.4 on ASUS M2N-MX mobo
...ne after that as the installer uses the Generic
VESA video driver during the install, however, upon the restart after the
install, the server then completely locks up. I can only assume it is at the
point of loading the video driver although I really don't know what CentOS
loads after the "acivating local loopback" section, because that is where it
freezes on the screen.
I'm thinking that the install to the SATA drive went well since it boots
from the drive though it doesn't exactly boot completely.
I have tried reinstalling several times already with the same negative
results...

CentOS 5.2 running in VMWare 6.5 Firefox failed to connect, but konqueror works well
Hello
I am running CentOS 5.2 in VMWare 6.5. Firefox doesn't run but Konqurer
does.
VMware host (Vista) is connected to the internet via a DSL router.
CentOS VMware network is brided, DHCP is activated, no firewall is acive.
Perhaps somebody can help me.

Win2K Terminal Server and roaming profiles issue
I have been using Samba 2.2 with LDAP as a PDC for a domain for over a year in a gradeschool setting. Recently, users have been having problems with roaming profiles not working. And not all users, just some. I have applied the policy fix for CompatibleRUPSecurity, along with other suggestions, but I still get 'the profile cannot be loaded', Access is denied message for somce users. I
