dynamic set_table_name for achives
How can I pass something to set_table_name so that I can switch tables
on the fly for accessing archive data?
If I could access sessions inside a model I would do something like:
if @session[:current_period]
set_table_name "statistics_" + @session[:archive_year]
else

on "source connect" script?
Hello All, I would like to run a script whenever a source connects to my
icecast server, somelike on source connect run xyz script. is this
possible?
What i would like to achive is to have an email sent out whenever a
source connects and also update a database with the fact it connected.
any hints or tips on how to achive this would be welcomed

Conference + time limit

Conference again. Meetme can now limit number of users in a room. Can it also limit how long a conference session? Someone ask the same question (from achive) but doesn't have a solid answer.

I am still runnig Redhat 9 box with sendmail and squid. It is quite slow. It
has only 128 MB RAM. So I upgraded it to 512 MB RAM. Now, It is running with
512 MB RAM. But, It is still slow. No progress has been achived. Some users
say it is slower than before. Actually, I also have noticed it is NOW SLOWER
than before. WHY IS THAT?

how to route outgoing calls on IP-level

out asterisk server has multiple network cards.
I want some outgoing calls (from several extensions) to use one IP address,
and others to go through
another address.

Converting a 'difftime' to integer - How to???
I want to find the DOY (Day of Year) of some dates. I think to substract the date 1. January from the data to achive this. Something like:
> d <- as.Date("2006-03-13") - as.Date("2006-01-01") +1

Time difference of 72 days
So far so good. But d is a 'difftime' object. How do I get an Integer value from that?

And make many many (near 60) leafs attached to 998

CentOS 6 x64 - Changing /var folder to raid 1 disk after install
Hello,
I have fresh install CentOS 6 x64 running on my server. I have a raid
1 drive 3 tb ready to be mounted. I want to mount this as var folder,
could achive this but after reboot, server didn't start, maybe i had
problem with command cp -rf.
Is this possible to do in a proper manner, with what commands?
I used rsync and diff game me like 10+ output.

Adding another swap
Hi ALL,
I have a harddisk with 3 primary partitions and one extended
partitions. Under extented partions , there are 15 partions.
Whole hard disk has been partitioned in a standard way, (i.e NOT LVM)
It has 2GB ram. swap is also 2GB.
Now I want to extend this swap to 4 GB.
If I use dd coomand and create a file with 2GB, Will I be able to
extend the swap witn swapon commnad?

How to Break Axis in Lattice Plot

I have searched the following problem in the R help achives, and there did
not seem to be solutio for it.
The problem is how to break the axis in the xyplot (lattice plot). I read
the posts using the package plotrix, buy it doesn't work with the xyplot,
which is lattice based.
