^-operation exponentiation problem
Hi, There seems to be a problem with the power-operation of the form c(..., -a, ...)^x.yyy Four code examples for the same calculation, which perform differently: -3^3.2 Result: [1] -33.63474 c(-3,6)^3.2 Result: [1] NaN 309.0893 But: c(-3.62,3)^3 Result: [1] -47.43793 27.00000 I can reproduce NaN even in the following calculation: c(-3,6)[1]^3.2 Result: [1] NaN but c(-3,6)[2]^3.2 Result:

the client side. Even though they are connecting (via samba) to the linux servers they are not getting internet access. They manage to ping the nic on the server but nothing on the backbone and obviously nothing on the net. The servers are abviously not routing the packets. Can this be simply solved by fixing the route.conf or do i need to set up masquerading on all the servers? Should I also be doing something to the samba config file? Thanks Mark __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Everything you'll ever...

Computer doesn't shutdown, only broadcasts a message to say low battery
Hi, I have a Liebert Powersure Personal XT 700 and have followed the installation instructions from here http://www.networkupstools.org/doc/2.0.0/INSTALL.html. I'm pretty sure I've got the ups.conf, upsd.conf and ups.users correct. I have setup upsmon.conf as suggested in the installtion guide with the exception of FINALDELAY which I set to 0 when I found things weren't working

How to control TEMP directory
This is a slight rework of my last question but should be clearer. My samba installation appears to be trying to use /root/tmp as its temp directory. This is useless as when logged in as a user the system has no access to the temp directory and so nothing works. How do I pursaude Samba to use /tmp as the temp dir. I am running Samba 3 on a Mandrake system. Thanks
