Absoloutely a must. The "genre" field is a reasonably good idea for this
stuff, but I think it requires a different approach. Let the listeners
define their own genres, based off artists played on the stream or

Samba as PDC & File Server compared to Windows Server
Hi,
Im looking for help and advice. I am using Linux Red Hat 6.2 as my Server
and I am running Apache 1.3.12 and Samba 2.0.6.
I have an Intranet set up which my users access through IE 5.5 on their
Windows 95 clients (at the moment!). However, I am looking for advice on
the best way to share files via the Intranet to my Windows Users.
If i upgrade the clients to Windows XP or 2000 will my Samba

Xen 3.0 Status update
At OLS we had a couple of "Xen Mini Summit" sessions. Although there
weren''t any formal minutes, here''s a rough summary of what we

[PATCH] 0/7 xen: Add basic NUMA support
The patchset will add basic NUMA support to Xen (hypervisor only). We
borrowed from Linux support for NUMA SRAT table parsing, discontiguous
memory tracking (mem chunks), and cpu support (node_to_cpumask etc).
The hypervisor parses the SRAT tables and constructs mappings for each
node such as node to cpu mappings and memory range to node mappings.

So I've been doing some research and thinking here and there about what
a _good_ directory service for icecast would be like. I'd appreciate
some feedback and some discussion on this topic, before I start putting
