multi-site SSL certificates
I'm handling mail for several domains, let's call them a.com, b.com, and c.com. I have certificates for each of these domains individually via certbot (letsencrypt) and nginx is happy with all of that. Since I initially configured the site to handle mail only for a.com, my /etc/postfix/main.cf file currently has these two lines: smtpd_tls_cert_file =

ot: how to block persistent same invalid account, different IPs
I've installed fail2ban, it seems to be working as it identified my failed test logins, BUT, my question is: what can I do when I see same invalid name trying to login to dovecot, different IP each time, how can I say block each IP as used by this name ? or it that a bad idea ? I can see two persistent attempts as so: I don't have such user 'ignacio' or 'julian' # grep

Thanks Sam Users not using new mail server yet. Both old and new using maildir. Sounds like rsync is the way to go. Thanks for your help. James. Sharing Mailbox between users using IMAP
...in that? I think the question is "is it a problem for multiple clients to access the same account"?? (Ignore the part about people.)? If so, then, no, this is the same as having my phone, my tablet, my work computer, my home computer, ... all having access to my mail account. -- Jeff Abrahamson +33 6 24 40 01 57 +44 7920 594 255 http://p27.eu/jeff/

Prediction from censReg?
Hi - First post, so excuse any errors in protocol: Wanted to ask if there's an easy way to use 'predict' with objects of class 'censReg', 'maxLik', 'maxim' or 'list'. Have a left-censored dataset, attempting to use a Tobit model and am working with the censReg package. I like how easy it is to move from glm models to predictions with

Weak CheckSum Question
Hi all, I am writing a xdelta-like application as a personal experiment and am busy implementing the rsync protocol, so far so good. I am using C++ templates and creating the algorithms so that operate on any stream, array, etc. through iterators. All seems well except that I am getting a lot of false hits with the weak checksum. When generating checksums of blocksize 1024 on the RedHat 7.1

passing xlim to coord_map in ggplot2
I'm sure this is smack-head moment, but I haven't been able to find an example of this on Nabble or SO, so thought I'd ask. This works: michigan <- map_data('county', 'michigan') mich_points <- data.frame(x = rnorm(n = 200, median(michigan[,1]), 0.75), y = rnorm(n = 200, median(michigan[,2]), 0.75)) ggplot() + geom_path(aes(long, lat, group = group), data =
