EXT3-fs error (device md(9,1)) in ext3_new_inode: error 28
...es. Since the above message is generated from __ext3_std_error, it marks the filesystem bad. This doesn't sound like proper behaviour. Kernel: Red Hat 2.4.9-21 -- Russell King (rmk@arm.linux.org.uk) The developer of ARM Linux http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/personal/aboutme.html

integer decoder
Is anyone working on an Ogg Vorbis decoder that uses only integer arithmetic? Would it be hard to do? It will be required at some point (for example, many portable MP3 players are based on an ARM processor without the floating-point coprocessor), but I don't claim that now is the time to start work on such a thing. I'm just curious. Edmund --- >8 ---- List archives:

Auto Vorbis
Is anybody going to do something about the fact that vorbis decoder won't run on ARM processors (iPaq's, etc) or any (that I know of) car music players? How can vorbis expect to compete when one of the most popular uses of MP3 is in the car?? Though I would love to switch to vorbis, I am forced to stick with MP3 because of this.
