rdb and rds files include abolute file paths / help understanding how lazy-load dbs are created
Hi, I'm trying to understand why/how absolute file paths are stored in .rdb[1] and .rds[2] files during package installation. As a consequence building the same r package in different directories does not produce identical .rdb and .rds files. The background is that I work on reproducible builds[3] of R packages. I think this is important from an engineering point of view but also from a

Initially, we were hopeful that we could work out an acceptable deal, at the very least, to allow us enough time to move your telephone numbers to another carrier without much, if any service interruption. RFC: LTO should use -disable-llvm-verifier
...ng the old libLTO entry points. > I just described a use case that shows how useful it can be. > > Apologize if I misunderstood the point. That seems like a potentially valid use case, but if it doesn't actually work right now it doesn't really buy you much. If this is indeed an abolute requirement, there are better ways of achieving this kind of thing without creating an API stability burden in LLVM. For example you could make libLTO a build product of ld64 rather than of LLVM by copying the tools/lto code into ld64 and using the preprocessor to make the code LLVM-version-depende...

Transcoding from icecast2->icecast2 results in "garbage"
Hi. Already talked to oddsock. But the problem seems not to be that easy to solve. Transcoding from shoutcast -> icecast2 works perfect. Anybody got a solution for this / experienced the same problem? Need help quite urgently :-((( <p>Thank you Stefan --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from

general question on binomial test / sign test
hello, i did several binomial tests and noticed for one sparse dataset that binom.test(1,1,0.5) gives a p-value of 1 for the null, what i can't quite grasp. that would say that the a prob of 1/2 has p-value of 0 ?? - i must be wrong but can't figure out the right interpretation.. best, kay ----- ------------------------ Kay Cichini Postgraduate student Institute of Botany Univ. of

(resend - sorry!) Which controllers?
Hello, I have recently started learning RoR. I think it''s _fantastic_. I am absolutely blown away. OK, this is to prepare you to my idiotic question. Hopefully, I won''t be stoned. I am designing a simple application, where users can register, and: * Publish a photo album * Publish a simple blog with comments * Determine their list of friends and foes The application will
