The odd thinh is, if I use this MinGW cross-compiler to compile a small
program, it works perfectly. The problem aboce is related to building
a Windows DLL.
On FreeBSD everything goes fine until it tries to link test_libFLAC++:

How to rsync selective subdirectories
...20020815
(where directory name above is the date, and daily changes i.e.
directories are added and deleted)
list of files in /abc/dir/20020811
toid
toil
etd
dt
(all the date directories contain the directories as above and there are
many subdirectories in the aboce directories)
I want to rsync all the dates directories but only the "toid"
subdirectory.
MY QUESTION IS: How can i rsync only the selected subdirectories?
Please help in this matter...
Thanks

I have attampted to write a macro that reliably detects the availability
of stack smash protection.
I currently have two configurations where my detection says that SSP is

samba 3.0 - ldap - pdc
hi all,
i am actually trying to get samba 3.01 (on SLES 8.0) working as PDC with
the ldap backend. I have already configured nsswitch to also use ldap
for groups and passwords (the root user is still in the /etc/passwd file
- i can't imagine that putting the root user into openldap is a really
good idea).
There is one sentence in the howto

[Best Practices] phone numbers??
I''ve seen phone numbers handled many different ways. Is there a recommended
Rails way to store, format and display phone numbers? I''d appreciate
comments from the community on this.
1. Is it better to store phone number as a 10-digit string? Then format it
as desired when displaying it?
2. or, is it better to store with formatting, ie. "(222) 111-2222" ?
3. Is

Xen dom0 and ZFS boot?
Some background - I have a couple of NetBSD (i386) boxes and CentOS 5 boxes that I want to virtualise and I''m trying to work out which OS will be most suitable as the dom0. I have a desire to run at least RAID1 and ideally ZFS mirroring on the dom0 so I can have all the domU''s not have to worry about disk redundancy etc.
My hardware : I have a brand new Intel E8200 core2duo and
