Web Based scheduler like LiveSupport for icecast
You might like my project called tunequeue, though it might be overkill or
too much effort to install. It does provide a web interface to ices and
allows fairly complex scheduling. It is perl with a mysql backend.

Web Based scheduler like LiveSupport for icecast
...rn the playlist back on, kill your live feed
and dump everyone back. I'm not sure if this is feasible or not, I just
remember thinking about it. I might have read about this approach around
here, who knows.

Load balancing / Traffic shaping project looking for help
Hi,
I''ve managed to create a web based interface to some of the advanced
routing capabilities in Linux. Currently it is functional (and
pretty, i think :) although far from perfect. I''m looking for people
with better programming skills and/or understandings of advanced
routing concepts in Linux than I have who''d like to help out with the
project.

Access for scripting??? Displaying play history
first, what are you using for a source, often this provides the info you
need? second, it may be way overkill, but I have written a perl based web
interface to ices/icecast, it's here http://tunequeue.sf.net
you might be able to strip out just the parts you want and use it.

Update metadata via URL?
Hi,
I notice the new feature in 2.2 to update a stream's metadata via the admin
interface.. but I can't seem to figure the URL to do this automatically from
a script. I have a script which figures song and artist from filenames when
possible which I use to make the web interface to my stream look nicer when
I can't put ID3 tags.. but I would love to at the same time
