Hi All; This is my first post to the OPUS group but I would like to find out if anyone is using OPUS over Bluetooth? If so, I have some follow-up questions on the implementation strategies that have been used. Is anyone using OPUS over A2DP? Is it possible for off-the-shelf OPUS bluetooth devices manufactured by different companies to be compatible with each other? If so, which A2DP Audio Codec ID is being used? For this, do you use the 'Non-A2DP' ID, or is there an OPUS ID? I'm not sure if this topic is better address...

Hello all, I''m mucking around trying to get my desktop computer (Ubuntu 11.10, BlueZ 4.96, ASUS USB-BT211 USB Bluetooth adapter, no microphone hooked up at the moment) to act as a a hands-free device for my phone (Nexus S). It was relatively simple getting it set up for A2DP, and I was able to play music that is on my phone through my desktop''s speakers (using PulseAudio loopback). But when I try to tell PulseAudio to use the Handsfree profile instead (so that this would work for phone calls too) I get an error. Checking the syslog shows that, when the phone c...
