I just installed jEdit but have no clue, whether I can run my code a'la

Dovecot's as ip/user based login filter?
Hello.
I'm facing a problem, I need to give access to internal mailserer for some people
only, but can't figure out how to do it. Opening the 993 port for whole word gives

Can Dovecot act as login filter or etc for that purpose. Or does anybody have idea
how to do it?

OK, fair point... perhaps I wasn't clear enough, this happens a lot...
probably my brain just operates on a different wavelength.... in my
original message I said "what method does it use to decide which is the
correct (most local?) domain controller to connect to"
The answer I got was...

I'd like to impliment full-blown nt-style permissions on my existing
Samba (with LDAP backend) server / shares. (i.e. file properties-->
security: different groups / users, with different permissions etc. etc.)
Now I've...

Then you go and remove the corresponding pubkeys from wherever they're
configured.
Seriously, even if you do not scan which pubkey is configured where
*now* (as is part of our usual monitoring), it'll be your "number <3&q...

ANNOUNCE: cifs-utils release 6.2 ready for download
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Again, nothing earth-shattering in this release. Mostly some minor
bugfixes and cleanups. Some highlights:
- - setcifsacl can now work without a plugin
- - systemd-ask-password is found using $PATH now
- - cifs.upcall now works with KEYRING: credcaches
Go forth and download!...

I think you are missing the point... the windows sysadmins have set up
sites, but they are blaming slow logins on Samba not correctly
interpreting the site and trying to contact a remote DC in a different
site... so I need to know how the DC communicates the site information
to the client.
Is it just a modified...
