reshape2 issue continued
...d ASAP that I also needed reshape loaded and not just
reshape2.
Hmmm tried that and I had some output but not the correct format.
What I need is to run simulations of time overlap between species as per
the simulation program data input constraints:
The basis for the simulations is a species by _time-use matrix in which
species are arranged in rows, and time intervals are arranged
chronologically in columns.___ TimeOverlap only uses text tab-delimited
files with no headings for columns or rows.Empirical data must be
specified in proportional abundances (0 to 100) and totals for each
specie...

How to fix broken ogg/theora files
Hi there,
I haven't been on this list until now, so I wasn't aware of this problem until last night ;-) - sorry for that.
I am working on a patch for oggCut for that issue (looks good actually but I would like to do some testing befor I can release a patch.)
Normal players are not effected by the page time misordering, so I took this issue as "minor". The reason for the

Fwd: The StructTS method
To whomever it may concern,
I'm a young Industrial Engineer working on Senior Design at Georgia Tech and have found the StructTS method to be excellent for the training set for my forecasting project. There's only one problem: I don't actually understand what a Structural Time Series IS. I've looked up resources on it, and get that essentially you're dividing the Time

[PATCH] Improve LPC order guess
Hi,
This patch improves compression a very tiny bit on average, but
up to 0.1 percentage point for classical music. I haven't found
any tracks that show worsening compression with this patch.

How to use the whole dataset (including between events) in Cox model (time-varying covariates) ?
...be measured at
event times. Chances are that the only time such a covariate is recorded
at high level, the individual for which it is measured as being high is
having an event.
This may bias the estimated coefficient.
Here is my question:
How to fully use the dataset?
(that is: how to have really _time-varying_ covariates (even if they
change step by step, not continuously), not covariates whose changes are
measured only at event time )
Ideally, the full dataset would be use to estimate the parameters, or at
least to estimate the standard error of the estimated parameters.
Any ideas ???

Asterisk 1.8.20 AGI function SAY DATETIME does not play anything when mode in say.conf is changed to "new"
Hi
I am using following say.conf file. Its a default file, which comes with
Asterisk installation.
When I call SAY DATETIME AGI function, it simply returns without playing
date & time. Where as if I use mode=old setting, it works. Is this a bug
or mode=new is not implemented for SAY DATETIME AGI function?

Keep-timestamp-in-`get'-patch for smbclient in samba-2.0.3
...levant service.
This patch adds a NEW command `timestamp' to toggle the `timestamp' flag
between `keep' and `new' (I don't know if these mnemonics are quite
right in English context or not).
If the flag `timestamp' is `keep' (BOOL:True), Windows file's
timestamp (a_time and m_time) will be kept in corresponding UNIX file
copied by `get' and `mget' command (`m*get' work like as in ncftp).
# The copied a_time (access time) make sense for NT4.0 and samba-2.0.3
# server, but may be a garbage if the server is Windows98.
If the flag `timestamp' is `n...
