Agent won't log out!
...log out. I have tried to log out from Xlite. I have tried from the console... AGENT LOGOFF 1001. It still gets the call. If I shut down Xlite, it still tries to contact agent 1001, but gets a congested message... if I bring Xlite back up, it gets the call. If I kill Asterisk and restart... its _STILL_ logged on. How can I kill the agent that will NOT DIE!?! ----Steve Stephen Amadei 5114 Harbor Beach Blvd Brigantine Beach, NJ 08203

URL for a vignette on CRAN?
How can I get a full URL for anything on CRAN? Using Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox under OS X 10.11.2, I select a CRAN mirror from "www.r-project.org" and get a URL like "https://cran.rstudio.com/". Then I select "packages" and get a different web page, but the URL displayed doesn't change. I'd like to access the full URL of a vignette in a

how to use LVM snapshot with ext3 - VFS lock patch applicability
Hi, I have an ext3 file system on top of LVM and i use journaled mode. I would like to make a snapshot of my filesystem while the application is running in order to backup on another physical storage. For that i have to create an LVM snapshot and then to mount it in read-only for copying the content. This is not possible as far as ext3 needs to do a log replay at mount time ( AFAIK). I would

Disabling "quick check"
Ok, thank you for this extra info. I have experienced exactly what you described. The rsync dry run is _still_ running after being started at 1:30am PST :) But it is finding the right files to update. Most of the entries are: >fc........ Which is what I want. So, just because I see: >f at the beginning... That doesn't necessarily mean that the file is going to get updated at the destination...

gfortran "static" linking on CentOS 7
Dear all, on CentOS 6 one could use -static-libgcc -static-libgfortran to obtain a binary which would run on other computers which don't have gfortran installed. On CentOS 7 one can install the libgfortran-static and libquadmath-static RPMs but the resulting binary _still_ requires /lib64/libquadmath.so as revealed by ldd. gfortran does not recognize an option like -static-libquadmath . libquadmath is required even for tiny programs which do not use high precision data types. Heavy use of Google did not bring any result. I tried with linker options -Wl,-Bstatic and...

URL for a vignette on CRAN?
...g url such as the one in 5) for a long while. Works like a charm. Now, from your vague text above, maybe you prefer NOT to use a CDN. In that case, insert an _explicit_ server, say Berkeley's mirror and you get https://cran.cnr.berkeley.edu/web/packages/sos/vignettes/sos.pdf but that is _still_ of the form ${SERVER}/web/packages/${PACKAGE}/${VIGNETTE} yet simple uses a different value for ${SERVER}. My hard drive on a Dell Latitude keeps being accessed every 5 seconds for a couple tenths of a second. Is there a way yo shut this off. I suspect it might be related to journaling? Thanks in advance. -- David I. Sommers, Ph.D. Kensington, MD

Re: Subscription state after reload (New subject)
How can a reload clear registrations? If I 'reload' without using realtime, I keep my sip peers (as well as astdb). I can still contact other phones... registration info is still there. If I `reload` with realtime, I lose my sip peers (but astdb remains). I can _STILL_ contact other phones.... registration info is still there and Asterisk must be referring to astdb to find the IP address the other phone is at. Installing ICQ2000b
...Wine system (i.e. not using the native Windows drive, but rather creating a clean one, as the instructions say for a non-Windows system?) I've tried it and it says that something isn't installed, and it needs 50comupd.exe from the M$ site. So I get that, installs OK. But ICQ2000b installer _still_ complains it's not there. USRMGR.EXE and SAMBA (main branch NOT SAMBA_2_0)
...ty on both sides. "add", "delete" and "change" are next on the list of things to do, as is inter-domain trust relationships. i have had unix groups explained to me by mike warfield: apparently the unix user primary group need _not_ appear in /etc/group, the user will _still_ be in that group: initgroup() takes the primary group as its second argument, it adds it to the list of groups returned. so, the users' primary group will be missing unless explicitly mentioned in /etc/group, until i fix this (two, three days?) other issues: NT groups can own files. why? be...

No subject
Correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently init_domain_list blocks until it finds something, and process_loop is only called afterwards. Am I right? I can patch up wbinfo to accept a command line argument for where to read smb.conf, while this will _still_ be an ugly hack, it'll be less ugly, and at least more usable. Will you accept it for 2_2? How to load a dataset
Hi: Since I didn't get any answers, I'll refresh my question. I have a dataset called "Chinook Run" saved in Excel and I want it to be loaded everytime R starts, so I can call it with a statement like the one below: qplot(color, Year/Forklength, data = Chinook Run) I wonder how can I do that. I went to the rprofile.site and copied the path to my dataset there and it

The major remaining problem is that the set of special characters and the quoting mechanism need to be changed for Windows.
