Half-Life sound problem
.... And i recompiled the NVdriver (enabling
SBA and AGP2x in os-registry.c, i also enabled FW but that
doesn't seem to work with my TNT2). I use the 20010112
with the transgaming and winehq diff patches.
Does anyone know how i can get better sound support? Do i have
to tweak HL settings (i tried _snd_mixahead) or can i set up
better sound in wine?
Has anyone a script which copies a win partion to a 'link
partition'? I noticed that the open file dialogue in media
player can't follow directory links so i wanted to set up
a mount point which had the same directory structure as
the win directory...

Performance in Half-Life
I got it working with wine, yay... And it's entirely playable but two
problems puzzle me.
Number one: The sound is lagging behind. I shoot and then about 1 second
later, the gun makes a noise. Now the gun fires instantly but the sound
is just delayed. (the same with all sound in half-life, no other game
though).
Anyone else had this problem?
Number two: Performance is still rather poor.

Weird Keys in Counterstrike
Hi,
I have just compiled wine-20011108 for my Mandrake 8.1 box, installed
Half-Life, patched it to 1.1.0.8, installed csv13full.exe. I then tried to
connect to a local LAN server however all the keys are all real weird. I ran
my standard win98se config file, it worked OK. By weird I mean that
normally when I move the mouse my player looks around but under wine he
starts a slow slide across
