Why is rails using DB objects that don''t exist?
...column, and a trigger that gets fired before record creation. I can use sql at a command line in Oracle''s sqlplus to add records. No sweat. But in the browser I get: ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid in RecipeController#create OCIError: ORA-02289: sequence does not exist: select recipes_seq.nextval id from dual I did once have a sequence with that name, but that''s long gone. In fact I''ve dropped and recreated the table, sequence and trigger several times with new names (except I continue using "recipes" for the table name). I''ve closed and o...

problem with factor levels
Hi I have a data.frame with 371,718 obs. of 12 variables (see below for an str). My problem is with V1, a Factor w/ 93144 levels, there should actually be 93994 levels. Each entry looks like: comp[number]_c[number]_seq[number] for example comp215489_c0_seq40 R is grouping as though the last number is a decimal for some reason, in other words comp215489_c0_seq40 and comp215489_c0_seq4 are considered to be the same. My problem is that they are not the same so when I group by this factor I am losing 800 levels. Her...

Neither the MBR parts nor the data dummy. Do you get the same result if you fill the entire stick with block_seq by omitting dd option count=647 ? /home/dpchrist/sandbox/syslinux/thomas-schmitt/block_seq-20170321-0141/block _seq | dd iflag=fullblock bs=1M of=/dev/sdb which will end intentionally by i/o error.
