Qdisc statistics project
As a necessety for my job is to real-time monitor the bytes, packets, packet
dropped etc of all the qdiscs working inside the kernel i''ve tried varius
methods:
1. Parse tc -s command output and update a round robin database and use
rrdtool to graphically display tc statistics.

2. Unsuccesfully tried QoS SNMP extensions, in order to use a

Introducing the makeit package

For R workflows, it can provide the same functionality as GNU Make but with
fewer software requirements in terms of software installed and system path.
The make calls() can be grouped together in a dedicated script, called
something like _make.R, or conveniently called from within scripts to
decide whether a certain part of the analysis needs to be (re)run or not.

Hello Brian,
I actually use compiz on multi-screen for development at work.
I solve this problem by moving my web browser window to the other
screen
and _make it sticky_. That way, no matter to what desktop I move,
the browser window stays visible on the other screen.
I assigned the "toggle sticky" action to Meta+S on my keyboard
to be able to do this quickly.
You should be able to find this somewhere in ccsm.

multiscreen
I'm wondering what the status of multiscreen support is supposed to be
in 0.9.7.12. Using Ubuntu Precise, it seems that compiz only manages 1
screen and if you want compiz on both screens of a dual screen set up
you need to start two compiz sessions as such:
$ DISPLAY=:0.0 compiz --replace
$ DISPLAY=:0.1 compiz --replace
What makes this all so strange is that even when one starts only the
