Can you verify currently defined libvirt secret provides valid Cephx auth?
...lid authentication via Cephx to a Ceph cluster? I ask because ideally I would like to verify that the given cephx credentials in my libvirt secret are valid before I even attempt the virsh attach-device on the domain. I tried searching for a solution to this, but I can't seem to find a way to _just_ check if the currently defined libvirt secret provides valid authentication to the Ceph cluster or not. Is this possible?

[PATCH] file: Normalize errno value for ENODEV
Fix issues Eric found in the original patch: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2018-July/msg00072.html - When handling ENODEV, the caller is expecting ENOTSUPP to trigger fallback. - ENODEV should be ignored in file_trim. Tested only on Fedora 28. --- plugins/file/file.c | 33 ++++++++++++++++++++++++--------- 1 file changed, 24 insertions(+), 9 deletions(-) diff --git

What does `iterate_query` for SQL want as output?
...led to iterate through some users dsync-local(hile at coyhile.com)<gCspG6m8Tl3bJQEAxHAMlw>: Error: read(remote) failed: EOF (version not received) The last line makes sense given the earlier failure. Should this log somewhere else besides syslog? And is there some way I can isolate and test _just_ the user iteration and enumeration code to prove out that the query is correct? Clearly, from output above, it should be. Thanks, -c

Re: [PATCH] file: Normalize errno value for ENODEV
...we care about retrying on EINTR? That would also fit well in this normalizing wrapper. But that can be a separate patch. With the typo fix, I'm okay with this patch fixing up the immediate issues. There's still the bigger question of whether we need to revisit the logic anyways (using _just_ PUNCH_HOLE when we want to guarantee zeroes and permit unmap, and _just_ ZERO_RANGE when we want to guarantee zeroes without discarding) - but that was pre-existing and didn't regress as a result of the immediate issue that this is trying to fix. -- Eric Blake, Principal Software Engineer...

MySQL Realtime Driver
Can someone shed some light on this? It sounds like exactly what I am looking for. Does it handle extensions.conf or just sip/iax/voicemail? (not that to say that _just_ those things would be cool) I have googled for some more information, but so far the only thing I can find is in the bug tracker and perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't get a full explanation. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. ~c

Updates... What? already?
Just had a good laugh. I'm sitting here at my desk working with my laptop sitting off to the side; I've just loaded C6 this morning and as I understand it C6 _just_ finished syncing on the mirrors over the weekend. I look up from an email I'm composing to see the updates alert being displayed. I won't repeat what first entered my head, but I couldn't help but laugh and think, "How the hell can there be updates already for an OS that just got r...

[patch] enhancement for tika server protected by user/password basic auth
Hi The existing code is designed for a tika server on local host, or on a remote host that is either accessable to all or for example taht is protected by ip restrictions via a proxy in front of it. I've configured a tika server behind an apache proxy which enforces basic auth, but sending basic auth credentials for a tika server is not currently supported by Dovecot. The following patch

Re: Clone VM with saved state
Hi Kashyap, Thanks for your answer! Unfortunately my use case requires cloning the exact memory state, so I won't be able to use virt-sysprep. But the snapshot command looks like something I could use. Could you suggest how to proceed and create/start a new vm from that snapshot? Funny, I was _just_ working on this. There are two issues that I encountered, the first being the one above and Google helped to resolve both. To correct your immediate issue, add default_tkt_enctypes = des-cbc-crc des-cbc-md5 default_tgs_enctypes = des-cbc-crc to the [libdefaults] section of /etc/krb5.conf Additi...

Dsync deleting mailboxes due to duplicate UIDs

I had seen that parameter but thought it would be prudent to not _just_ rely on the Message-ID but instead keep the default "Date Message-ID". I _think_ I might have found an issue when looking at the log: 1536525811.026071 * 39 FETCH (UID 39 BODY[HEADER.FIELDS (Date Message-ID)] {159} 1536525811.026071 Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.4.30.0207091925420.433-10000...

Re: LXC + USB passthrough = Operation not permitted
I'd also like to point out that, when setting up a linux container with _just_ the lxc tools available in ubuntu, all that was needed to be done was whitelist the appropriate cgroups for the Android devices. The lxc tools seem to create the appropriate character devices when you detach/attach the Android device via USB, and the Android `adb` tool recognized the devices. So,...

[LLVMdev] DWARF 2/3 backwards compatibility?
...ould actually do when you compile and run it. But it seems to me that we have a huge pile of IR-level tests, so _somebody_ must think they are useful. :-) Sure, the acid test is whether the debugger does the right thing. I'm not saying debugger-based tests are worthless, I'm saying that _just_ having debugger-based tests is not _optimal_. DWARF-level testing would let you do things that debugger-based tests would find anywhere from awkward to impossible. That said, what's easiest is probably to get some form of GDB bot up and running, and the benefit is likely to be worth the pain....

Am failing on making lagged residual after regression
...hat value seems to have mysteriously vanished. Instead, the first non-NA in f - which is f[35] - is 7660.00638, which (incidentally) was e[67]. I just don't know how that value got here. And, the values in f[] seem to peter out at 133! After 133, they are all NA until the end. I guess I'm _just_ not understanding what is the animal that is returned by residual(lm()). I know I am missing something basic, because lots of people must be doing what I am trying: I.e. to run a regression, extract a residual, lag it, and use it for a 2nd stage regression. I know that the vector e (returned by re...
