Help with Error: POSIX collating elements are not supported
Hello, I hope this is the right place to get help fixing an error when using Markdown on our servers. I'm not sure what our webmasters have done, but a recent change (perhaps to PHP?) made our Markdown text disappear from the page because of an error. Sun's LookingGlass desktop actually uses a non-X11 system (and quite a number of other, innovative APIs -- including 3D _input_ as _standard_), but offers X11/GLX for compatibility (and, thus, should support "Cario" interfaces as well). But until these features ship as standard in either Windows or Linux distros (think Fedora Core 5 / RHEL 5 / CentOS 5 time-frame ;-), don't expect good performance with opaque...

Speed problem
Mermgfurt ! I have some problem with syncing two machines which are connected over a Gigabit-connection. I'm trying to use rsync with ssh because of the authorisation mechanisms (keys). It starts quite ok with 18 MB/s (this small speed may have something to do with our internal net) and falls down to 400 KB/s (!!!). This happens over a long period because those files I want to copy are very
