ldap/pam authentication
Hello,
I was wondering if there is an easy way to authenticate users through
ldap, or pam (which uses ldap). In our current setup samba uses tdbsam.
I would like users to be authenticated to our existing ldap server
(slapd on debian etch). So that if the user has been authenticated
successfully (s)he can access the directories as configured in smb.conf

GSSAPI Key Exchange Patch
Will Simon Wilkinson's GSSAPI Key Exchange patch ever be incorporated into
the OpenSSH source?

part of the OpenSSH source. Is there something missing or is there some
technical/philosophical reason for not including it?

I think _many_ people other than myself have seen _many_
viewpoints on this issue. Why many people seem to think that
there must be no less than an absolutism on SELinux until it
accomplishes no less than the _impossible_ is beyond me.

Yes. And you have these options..
1. Learn it and see if it fits
2. Put it into another mode (e.g., permissive)
3. Disable it
4. Look to anothe...

[RFC] The reflink(2) system call.
Hi everyone,
I described the reflink operation at the Linux Storage &
Filesystems Workshop last month. Originally implemented as an
ocfs2-specific ioctl, the consensus was that it should be a syscall from
the get-go. Here's some first-cut patches.
For people who have not seen reflink, either at LSF or on the
ocfs2 wiki, the first patch contains
Documentation/filesystems/reflink.txt to
