Plan for landing flang in monorepo
Hi llvm-dev It's been a few weeks since I last gave an update on F18 and our progress on readying it for inclusion into the monorepo. Last time we discussed this the community challenged us to make the F18 source code look more like an LLVM project and to come up with a plan and schedule for completing this work (http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2020-January/137989.html) The full

Dear Forum, I have encountered a similar issue as below in Asterisk 10.0.0. Asterisk crashed while executing "meetme kick all" CLI command from manager interface. Clang/LLVM JIT - When to use "registerEHFrames()"
Hello Stefan, I'm happy someone replied to my problem! Many thanks! To be honest... I didn't understood much of your mail. I'm a beginner with the JIT - so I will explain what I've done. To manage the memory and resolve symbols, I'm using my own Resolver-Class, which overloads the allocation and the findSymbol functions. I've noticed today, that the

Aliasing of pointers from different address spaces
Hi, Can I configure address spaces aliasing for my specific target? I found this discussion (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/llvm-dev/0ZbzzN6t05o) , where James says "pointers in different address spaces cannot alias", but it is not what I see in the code. I looked for a way to customize address spaces separation in Target, but I can't find.

[FPEnv] Rust/Go/Swift/Flang/other llvm IRBuilder needs?
I've got a ticket open where I would very much like some input from maintainers of other languages that rely on llvm and use the IRBuilder. See: Teach the IRBuilder about constrained fadd and friends: https://reviews.llvm.org/D53157 I'm adding support to functions like CreateFAdd() the ability to optionally emit the constrained math intrinsics required to support strict floating point

RFC: Adding Register Calling Convention Support
Hi All, The Register Calling Convention (RegCall) was introduced by Intel to optimize parameter transfer on function call. This calling convention ensures that as many values as possible are passed or returned in registers. To use RegCall, place the keyword before a function declaration. For example: __regcall int foo (int i, int j); // Windows OS __attribute__((regcall)) foo (int I, int j); //
