Use DECT GAP handsets with Snom M3 base?
Anyone have practical experience using inexpensive GAP-compliant DECT
handsets with the Snom M3 basestation?
When I asked Snom support, the answer was that 'basic functionality
should work', but they didn't elaborate. I'm _guessing_ that means
registering/unregistering with the base, making calls, and receiving
calls (including presenting caller ID). They also stated that they did
not test with other manufacturer's products (implying 'you're on your
own'). Pretty much the response I expected.

Switchroot: mount failed: 22, Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted tp kill init!
Hi, everybody!
My pxelinux.0/default file is:

UEFI IA32 kernel 4.9 x86_64 fail 4.4 OK
FYI,
The following has been reported:
_ OK: Syslinux EFI_IA32 -> x86_64 Linux kernel 4.4.x
_ KO: Syslinux EFI_IA32 -> x86_64 Linux kernel >= 4.9.x
Note: Where Syslinux is failing to boot the kernel, grub2 is OK.
Considering other reports, I am _guessing_ that Syslinux is probably OK
with kernel 4.8.x too and that the failure starts with kernel 4.9.x.
Please note that this is UEFI IA32 with x86_64 processor / kernels.
Tests were performed on QEMU and on real hardware (e.g. some ATOM-based
models and similar match use this setup).
It would be he...
