Hllo, I have a Debian Wheezy machine with a standard samba configured as domain controller. (security = user) On the Windows clients a programm shall be installed that needs full access to all files on a network drive I have set the Unix permissions to 777 for all files and subdirectories of the according directory. best practice backup
Hi there, I am using tar to backup the whole system (specific directorues usr,lib,sbin,etc,var,home,root). On bare metal recovery I install the minimal portion of the syetm and then I throw the tarballs. Any opinions? D. wine handles an app weirdly in ubuntu 8.04
I have a little Windows app which under Windows does not require installation. When started the first time, it creates in its own directory three files with desired configuration options I choose at that time. The next time started it simply uses those files. PCI passthrough, poor network performance in upload direction
Hi all, I have been having an issue for over a year with several Xen installations and have not been able to find out if this is just something I am missing.
