If I put the 27.4 (reported voltage @ 100%) in the config, battery.charge drops immediately when unplugged, because the reported battery.voltage then is only 26.xV. UPS Shutdown
I'm trying to better understand OffDelay and OnDelay: http://networkupstools.org/docs/man/usbhid-ups.html#_extra_arguments My server requires ~3? minutes to shut itself down. Considering this I'm comfortable setting OffDelay to 300 (five minutes). How does this work in conjunction with the UPS hardware? Does NUT immediately send a command to the UPS to wait for 300 seconds and then shut itself down, thereby allow...

blazer_ser battery.high / battery.low
Hello list, we've got a PowerWalker VI 1000E/RT LCD UPS and like to use it with NUT using the blazer_ser driver. For the blazer_ser driver to display percentage, one has to add battery.voltage.high and battery.voltage.low voltages to the ups config. Here's what I received from the powerwalker customer service: Battery-Low Voltage: 21.6VDC Battery Shutdown: 19.2VDC Now my questions: 1.

Ippon Back Power Pro 700 USB driver.
Hello! I've got an "Ippon Back Power Pro 700 USB" UPS. The system is Gentoo/Calculate. The NUT version is *2.6.0-r1* I've made all necessary instructions to make NUT work properly with my UPS using USB "blazer_usb" driver. But, when I start *upsdrv* it tells me the following: * * Starting UPS drivers ...* *Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.6.0*

Tripplite SmartUPS
We are configuring a server with a Tripplite SmartUPS, Web SNMP Card, and Envirosense Probe. The configuration is good using usbhid driver and we can get it to shutdown clean by producing a "power event" (pull the power cable). It is not very clear how to add or see the values associated with the external probe. We need to be able to shutdown based on the input from the probe as well as

...ue for the port string is ignored, though it must be present - you can change that to "auto" or "dummy" if you want. (See the usbhid-ups man page for details if you need to distinguish between multiple UPSes on a single system: http://networkupstools.org/docs/man/usbhid-ups.html#_extra_arguments ) You can also add "productid=0000" here, and try running the driver and upsd. (Either use the usbhid-ups command line below, and run "sudo /sbin/upsd", or kill the driver and run "sudo service nut-server restart" > My system is running Ubuntu 16.04 with nut versi...

Eaton 5PX broken interrupt on usbhid-ups, also pollfreq vs pollinterval?
Linux NUT 2.7.1 Eaton 5PX usbhid-ups It would appear that interrupts are not actually working on my 5PX using the usbhid-ups driver. I will be trying the serial mge-shut driver next. It just seemed like it was working before because of the default pollinterval of 2 seconds. The status update comes in during the pollinterval no matter what I have pollfreq set to. And I can set pollonly and

Adding drivers to NUT?
Dear Daniele, i understand perfectly, i'd like to explain you why we choosed to clone the blazer_usb driver: some of our devices uses Voltronic Q1 protocol and we tried the Krauler Subdriver (it was the one with the right "commands", Q1, F, etc.), but the issues were 2: - first: the Krauler Subdriver expects a different number of bytes in answer because in debug i see "Short

Hello, we have a Emerson Liebert GXT4, that we like to connect to our servers to shut them down if there is a power failure (which happens quite often in our area). I couldn't get the GXT4 working with usbhid-ups driver. So I need some advise to continue to get this device working. The GXT3 seems to be working ok with NUT (http://networkupstools.org/ddl/Liebert/GXT3.html). Here is my
