good day here, I'm maintaining a couple of R modules, both on r-forge. tests for these modules are written making use of unit testing, and I make use of the svUnit module, part of SciViews-R. I also make use of examples in the .Rd files. my question regards 'R CMD check pkg'. if an _example_ is not run correctly, I get clear feedback on the command line where I run 'R CMD check pkg'. _unit tests_ on the other hand may give failure or error, or may be marked as skipped. all these conditions are caught by the unit testing module that allows the unit testing script to produce a...

wow. i admired nick's _write-up_ of "elastic tabstops" when i read it... but i skipped his _example_, since java is disabled in my browser. during a re-read, i turned on java, temporarily, to see his example. and i'm _very_ impressed. in real time, on an interactive web-page, nick makes elastic tabstops work, and he makes them work _well_... i mean, i've done it inside an offline app....

Can anyone point me to examples with R code where bwplot in lattice is used to order the boxes in ascending order? I have found the following discussion and it partly works. But, I have a conditioning variable, so my example is more like bwplot(var1 ~ var2|condition, dat) Th example in the discussion below works only when there is not a conditioning variable as far as I can tell.
