ssh & keep absolute local paths from --include-from=file remotely
...(file containing \n seperated /etc/bash.bashrc /etc/profile /home/thomas/testfile) ..yet no success. rsync ends up either stating all files recursivly so i ^C or it just tries to dump them all into / (where I don't have write access). So all I want is rsyncing files while preserving their _absolute_ paths on the target machine which doesn't seem possible. Can someone point me to a patch or so? If not consider this as a feature request :) TIA -Thomas P.S.: Please no "hacks" like hardlinking the /etc/ files to a subdir and just rsyncing this subtree or a 'for i in `c...

..., and "memtest", "bios/" and the efi branch that is not the one you are actually testing. 3_ I noticed one "PATH efi64/" and no "PATH bios/" nor "PATH efi32/". The PATH directive accepts "absolute" notation only, so the whole path, in _absolute_ notation, should probably be included when using the whole complex case. Limiting the initial tests to the minimal situation (defaults paths, all files together, one firmware,...) should avoid the need of the PATH directive. Later additional complexity will probably require the correct usage of...

ogg/vorbis on OS/2 and console apps
Is the vorbis encoder a console app? If so it should already run on OS/2? Or is that only 16 bit console apps that ran on OS/2? love Freya --- Michael Smith <msmith@labyrinth.net.au> wrote: > At 07:09 AM 1/3/01 +0100, you wrote: > > > > > >On Tue, 2 Jan 2001, Kenneth C. Woolf's test, Odds ratio, stratification
Just a general question concerning the woolf test (package vcd), when we have stratified data (2x2 tables) and when the p.value of the woolf-test is below 0.05 then we assume that there is a heterogeneity and a common odds ratio cannot be computed? Does this mean that we have to try to add more stratification variables (stratify more) to make the woolf-test p.value insignificant? Also in the
