I have FC1 + samba 3.0.1. From Nautilus I can't browse into smb:/// to view any available domain/workgroup. But I can go directly to any computer with smb:///conputer-name. ...again tonight 4.6.7 it has the same problem I've seen with the prior newer versions as well. The one I went back to was 4.4.15 which works. What is happening right now is there is a Win2K3 box that is the domain server, with thecompanydomain.com (NetBIOS domain name: COMPANY). That has the __MSBROWSE__ on it. Harry, Thank you. Unfortunately we don't have the choice of upgrading LDAP due to distro not supporting the newer version. However we have managed to get it to work. A lot of fiddling around.
