parkcall: How to remove announcement.
Hello all, I want to park calls using the callpark application, but I don't want to hear the saydigit when the called is parked. To resolve this issue I use the following instruction in the dialplan: exten => _8XX,1,ParkAndAnnounce(|1000|local/10 at default|) Because local/10 at default is not defined to a peer I get a lot of warnings. :( Is there a better way to resolve this issue?? Thanks in advance. Alex -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digiu...

Working Config for Polycom VVX and Auto Answer

I tried the guide here: http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/FAQ-How-can-I-change-my-Ringtone-or-Ring-in-a-special-manner-for/td-p/5167 And I have this in my diaplan: exten = _8XX,1,SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: info=ringAutoAnswer) exten = _8XX,2,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:1},20,tk) But whenever I attempt a call to a matching exten, it just rings normally for the 20 seconds I have indicated here and never answers. I found a setting in the phone's GUI: "Auto Answer SIP Calls&quo...

RE: Answering Machine Function?
-----Original Message----- <snip> Is this possible with asterisk? Anyone have a sample dialplan? -other than the problem outlined below I would try something like S,1,wait(20) S,2,voicemail(uwhatever) S,3,hangup That should ignore the call for 20 seconds and then leave a message in the unavailable greeting for 'whatever' then hangup That leaves another problem -
