Hi there, I currently have 9 x Samba 4.6.3 Domain Controllers happily replicating and working nicely. We use BIND_DLZ DNS. I have been tasked with adding a Windows 2008 R2 DC to this group which I have done following this guide: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Joining_a_Windows_Server_2008_/_2008_R2_DC_to_a_Samba_AD All appears to have gone well and replication is working according to "samba-tool drs showrepl", however my zones are not appearing in the DNS Manager on the new Windows DC, although the Windows DC appears to be acting as a DNS server ok as it can resolve all addresses that exist on the...

...me have ended with the Windows Server almost becoming a DC but DNS replication (Forest and Domain) have never worked. Occasionally things just get stuck when replicating the Configuration over. Could this be because I'm coming from a classicupgrade? Has anyone else out there managed to get this working? I have added a 2008R2 server as an ADC to a domain (S4 4.5.3);  and the instructions say to verify the DNS records...  what DNS records does one expect to find?  I think I know but looking in DNS it does not appear the server created any DNS records relating to being a DC. No GUID CNAME in _msdcs.micore.us, no SRV records in Default-First- Site-Name._tcp,... I have not yet rebooted the server
