get SIP extension status without calling it
Hi,
I am trying to get a SIP extension's status without
actually making a call.
I am using sofia-sip's "options" example utility and
the sip clients are SJphone softphones.

presence settings and Eyebeam
What is the proper way of adding hints to multiple extensions?
In my case extensions are the same as the sip usernames, while as per
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20presence
exten => 1234,hint,SIP/1234 works,
exten => _1XXXX,hint,SIP/${EXTEN} doesn't. Not sure if I can even use
${EXTEN} here...
Any hints?

Create a group of SIP acoount for outgoing calls ?
Hi
actually, for call i use ZAP Channels on a E1 and SIP Account on a VoIP
provider ...
in Zap, we use group and we have:
exten => _1XXXX.,2,Dial(Zap/r1/${EXTEN:1},50,rt)
exten => _1XXXX.,3,Hangup
r1= he change of channels at all calls channel group 1
It's possible to create a group of SIP Account and use same "r1"
for outgoing calls ?
r2= he don't use the same account into sip group 2

any one tell me how to make a dialplan
my extensions.conf
exten => _40XXXXXXXXXXXX,1,Dial(OH323/${EXTEN})
i want to dial to 40XXXXXXXXXXXX number.
XXXXXXXXXXXX could be any number like 923335224005 or
92512213248
at the moment when i am trying to dial 40923335224005
asterisk is dialing
