Oracle 9i RAC on OCFS2
Hi, I'm setting up a 2-node Oracle 9i RAC on OCFS2. But I have some problems with understanding how the shared Oracle_Home is being used. For instance there is the *$ORACLE_HOME/oracm/admin/cmcfg.ora* file. The $ORACLE_HOME is on the SAN so the 2 nodes have access to this file. How will the settings then be done per node? Is there...

Badly posted "Oracle 9i, 10g, Apps 11.5.9" message.
...een chastised for this once on the list (did you miss that post?) and I apologized privately via e-mail to the person who pointed out my mistake. I guess that's not enough, so, for you, and everyone else: I'm sorry. It won't happen again. BTW, thanks for the feedback I did get on 9i and 10g installations on CentOS. Are there any Apps 11.5.x lurkers out there, or has nobody actually tried this? I intend to at least attempt it and will post an update (in a _new_ thread) with my findings. This response should be in a new thread unless I really do have my head up my ass....

Can OCFS and GFS co-exist on the same RHEL 3 RAC node??

Would there be any issues using OCFS for Oracle 9i RAC and using GFS for failing over things like print services on the same node? Has this been tested? I know these are competing products and OCFS 2.0is not an option now for the client. They need...
