The ports are 9981 and 9981 (UDP and TCP). That is, my CLIENT should see the SERVER. I don't want to route any of the internet traffic over client or server, just to have access to these remote ports. What would be the way to achieve this? Please help with configuration (Drake Drake)
...nd UK TV to my Spanish home, using Kodi and TVHeadend!!It works really well, but find that I need powerful PCs running Kodi/PVR-HTS to prevent buffering. The Tinc VPN does not filter ports - all ports are available at each end. Since you're likely to be behind NAT this is safe. The port numbers 9981 and 9982 are only needed in the PVR-HTS Addon within Kodi, assuming you're starting TVHeadend with the defaults. It took me many hours of reading the Tinc docs and examples many times to get the configuration!! And Micheal's comments were a good summery. John   1. Re: Please help with confi...

vmplayer on xen guest
Hi! I need to install vmplayer on Xen guest with centos4.4. When I run vmplayer-config.pl I have problems with inserting vmmon module in kernel. The dmesg shows this message vmmon: Unknown symbol xen_features I read on the forums that vmware is not running on Xen. What I am wondering is if this affirmation refers also to vmplayer and if not how can I skip this problem? Thanks in advance!

HVM success story, now on server environment
I had the chance to test out one of the new Sun X2200 M2 servers for a week or so, aiming to check out the status of HVM support on these machines. The machine was a dual-Opteron dual-core, with 8GB RAM and 1 300GB SATA disk. Normally I tend to use Debian on my servers, but due to lack of needed hardware support on Debian x86_64 images, and because I had very few time to run the tests, I used an
