I think you can refer to lib/VMCore/AsmWriter.cpp for these things.
E.g.,
You can use 'if(I.isTerminator())' if a instruction 'I' is terminator.
You can use 'if (isa<BranchInst>(I))' if a instruction 'I' is 'br' instruction.
and so on...
