efficient way to make NAs of empty cells in a factor (or character)
...[1] FALSE FALSE TRUE FALSE
Is there a more efficient way to fill empty cells in all my factors in R
or should I just do it in advance in Excel by 'search and replace'?
Thanks in advance!

more documentation on lmer?
Hello. Is there any documentation on the lmer function in the lme4 package
beyond what was published in the May 2005 R News (vol.5/1)? As well, has
the nonlinear version of lmer appeared yet?
