SmartUPS-600 problem with 940-0024C cable
Hey guys,
I built my own 940-0024C cable as described here:
http://www.networkupstools.org/cables/940-0024C.jpg
My problem is that I can't receive anything.
Sending (e.g. through minicom or my own application) works fine.
Nut itself is not able to detect My UPS or anything else.

Control power output via serial connection
Hi,
I have two APC UPS models and I am trying to find out if it is possible
to cut power down via serial connection in Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 AMD64
system.
I have models:
APC Back-UPS Pro 650 (BP650SI)
APC Back-UPS 650 (BK650MI)
I have also APC serial cables 940-0020C and 940-0095B.
Is this possible with my current hardware? If it isn't possible, could
you recommend model(s) on which has this feature?
Does it exist models with which user is able to control the power per
power socket?

Debian 10 nut 2.7.4-8 and APC Back UPS 600i on 940-0020B
...watch upsc APC600
I was switch to battery, after 2-3 second it show that is on battery OB
and after it shutdown because of low battery LO.
I think that systemd scripts some what unsynchronized, but after it connect.
Problem still exist - why low battery?
Low battery sensing is a little tricky on 940-0020B it using DCD as input,
but it driven by CTS and TxD too. I'm afraid that I cannot using -DCD
setting.
Any suggestion?

some fixes, improvements, and new features (EPO and DYING) for NUT
Here are a series of my recent changes to NUT.
The first few in the set are primarily little fixes and improvements.
In among those are a few for .gitignore files which of course you can
ignore for SVN, and there's one for a commit to a generated file which
of course should not be tracked in any VCS.
Then there are a couple or three to do with generating the header files

Bug in winealsa.drv? Incredibly specific oddity
...ebug just the wave classes, I think I've found a clue.
It keeps hanging on wodPlayer_NotifyCompletions and just waiting forever when it locks up. Here's the interesting part though...
It only locks up when the difference between lpWaveHdr->reserved and wwo->dwPlayedTotal is EXACTLY 940 [Shocked]
I've repeated this over 4 times. How I even caught it... lol.
I wrote a parser to verify it wasn't a fluke, on the first run, there were 446 instances of "wodPlayer_NotifyCompletions" and not one had a value of "940" until it did and locked up the applicati...
